Please take a look around at the newly redesigned website as some exciting changes have been made over the past few weeks. I recently made the determination that there was likely a better way to view and find pictures in the Images From Nature online gallery, so you will now find wildlife galleries, scenic galleries, note card & Christmas card galleries, and from time-to-time some event specific galleries. This is a drastic change from the galleries of the past that were wildlife pictures from Yellowstone for example and scenic images from Grand Teton National Park as another example. Now, for example, all grizzly bear pictures can be found in one gallery, whether they were captured in Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park or elsewhere. The 3H Store has been updated, there is now a specific page for Equestrian & Rodeo Event Photography, and more updates are coming to several other pages.

I am very excited to again be shooting for the great people at the Flying B Invitational, and this year I'll be capturing the action during their winter series as well as the competition at the 2019 Cheyenne Frontier Days performances.

Flying B Invitational youth bull riding series begins on Saturday, January 5th at the Laramie County Community College (LCCC) Arena. The series then continues on Saturday, January 12th, again at the LCCC Arena, and there are several June events scheduled with more events in the planning stages. They will be bucking out bulls in various age divisions at each event, and you'll be able to see all of the event images here in the Flying B Galleries.

Kelly and Brannon Bartlett with Flying B operate a top-notch operation, and I'm happy to be the Flying B Invitational official photographer.

Come out to see the future of bull riding at these exciting events!

The 3H Photography 5th Annual "Images From Nature Show & Sale" will be held on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm. Please plan to join us for a relaxing evening where you'll have the opportunity to discover my wildlife and nature fine art photography. I will be unveiling some new limited editions, and my entire limited edition collection will be on display and for sale. As in past years, we will also have fine art photography gifts such as stone coasters, 2019 wildlife and scenic calendars, coffee table books, mouse pads and note cards.

Please stop by and enjoy some refreshments while doing some holiday shopping for that special someone in your life. The holidays are always a busy time, but I'd love it if you stopped in on the evening of December 7th. It's always nice to catch-up with old friends and make new ones during the holiday season.

I'm pleased to share that I will be teaming-up with Judy Myers from Judy Myers Photography to shoot the upcoming equestrian Event At Archer here in Laramie County August 24-August 26th at the Archer Complex. Nearly 150 riders will compete in three different equestrian events (Dressage, Cross-Country and Show) during the three day event. While I'm very adept at photographing pro rodeo, this will be my first equestrian event, so there's a lot to learn in a hurry. As first-timers, Judy and I are doing research and making every attempt to be prepared to do it right. Pretty cool to test my skills in a new venue, and it will be very cool to work with another pro to capture all of the action. The images will be shared here in the Event At Archer gallery, and of course some will be shared on all of the 3H social media channels.

I will once again be found behind the chutes and in the camera pit during this the 122nd Cheyenne Frontier Days celebration. This year I will again be shooting the CFD rodeo performances for Bartlett Bucking Bulls. The Flying B Invitational (young up & coming bull riders) takes place during the CFD rodeo performances, and this year the field has expanded into two divisions of young bull riders - junior and senior. The junior division will buck July 22nd, 24th and 26th, and the senior division will buck July 23rd, 25th and 27th. The top 3 in each division will make the short-go on July 28th. You've got to come out to see the future in bull riding - right here at the Daddy of 'em All! These young men have so much spirit, try and talent that the future of rodeo and bull riding looks to be in good hands.

There will be a 2018 Flying B Invitational gallery added to the site where contestants and their families can view and order images from this year's performances. Good Luck young men!

I was fortunate to spend the past six days in the Tetons, and I am currently working through approximately 1500 images. In the next few days, I should have the images that make the limited edition cut shared in the Grand Teton National Park galleries. I'm very excited to have once again been selected as a participating artist in the prestigious Western Spirit Art Show & Sale at the Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum. The 37th Annual Western Spirit Art Show and Sale, which features over 100 western artists from across the country can be seen March 3, 2018, through April 15, 2018. The opening reception for the 2018 Western Spirit Art Show and Sale takes place on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at the Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum. We have added a gallery of limited edition images currently available on note cards. Our 3H note cards have proven very popular over the years, but we recognized that our online customers do not have the opportunity to view the "card rack" and thus are unaware of which images are available on note cards. This event features young bull riders testing their mettle against some great bucking bulls. This event is brought to CFD by Flying B Bucking Bulls, and is featured during the main performance of the CFD Rodeo on Monday, July 24th, Wednesday, July 26th, and Saturday, July 29th.

Note: Those interested in purchasing prints will need to contact Flying B Bucking Bulls or me directly for pricing. I have priced these images at a much lower price point than my limited edition pictures, so purchasing cannot be completed on the website.
