Spring Shoot in Grand Teton a Huge Success
16th May 2024
We just returned from our annual Spring shoot in Grand Teton National Park, and we are so grateful for all that we were blessed to see. From sunsets and grizzlies to the elk migration and cinnamon phase black bears. Hayden and I were in the Tetons from May 5th through May 10th, and we spent the majority of every day out in the park seeing what we could see.
We were fortunate to photograph Grizzly 610 (famous grizzly sow and offspring of world famous Grizzly 399) and her 2.5 year old triplets the day before she "kicked" them out to begin their lives as adult grizzly bears. We also captured the great elk migration from the National Elk Refuge back to the high country that happens each Spring. Additionally, we captured images of several cinnamon phase black bears, a fox, a raven, and a number of sunsets.
